Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures for ever!

It doesnt seem possible that a year has gone by since I became Pastor at QBC! My overriding response to those 12 months is: Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. Throughout, we have been conscious of the Lords constant love as we build new relationships in a new area. That doesnt necessarily mean that everything has gone smoothly quite the opposite in many cases! What it means is that we know that the Lord is directing our lives according to his will. And we know that the Lords will is what is best for us and so we rejoice and give thanks in all circumstances because the Lord is good.

Many people blame the Lord when things go wrong in their lives but fail to thank the Lord when things go right. Thats rather like the behaviour of a spoilt child! If you are not happy with the way the Lord has dealt with you I invite you to come to church and take up your complaint with God. You will, in time, discover that the Psalmist was right when he wrote:
