We are so excited to greet the Autumn season with really wonderful news. It gives me great pleasure to announce to our whole community that Pastor Phil and Elaine Grubb, with their 3 children Thomas, Sophie, and Emma, of Bridgend, Wales are now moving into Quedgeley and joining us in the ministry at QBC! Pastor and Mrs. Grubb, originally of Somerset, served as founders of the Broadlands Evangelical Church in Bridgend, and will bring a wealth of experience and loving care.

We would love for you to meet them! There is a very special Harvest Weekend on the last weekend of September, and you are each invited to attend. The Induction Service for Pastor Grubb will be held Saturday afternoon, 26 September, from 2.30-4pm at Quedgeley Community Centre. Then on Sunday morning the 27th we will have our Annual Harvest Celebration service at Quedgeley Village Hall. A joy-filled service will be held with festive music and readings and message, plus there is an opportunity to donate tins of food for the Salvation Army food bank. What a beautiful and meaningful weekend is planned as we praise God for His wonderful provisions.

It has also been a very full and exciting Summer at QBC, with our annual Holiday Bible Club Dino Detectives held at the end of July. The Village Hall was filled with children and their parents and friends on Sunday 2nd August at the Closing Programme. Our Contest Grand Prize Winner this year was Leila Watson, and we also awarded special Bibles to two of our lads graduating from Friday Club to Teen Club this year: Joseph Boucher and Daniel Wang.
